A New Fitness Landscape

Times have changed drastically in 2020. It has forced us, at Move LA, to grow and adapt our business.

Whilst delving into the world of online fitness, it became apparent that there was a need for online at home fitness, with or without gyms being open.

At home fitness will dramatically reduce time spent on travelling to and from the gym, it allows parents to get home to their kids, and even to get them involved in the workouts! It also caters to people who are at higher risk of catching an illness, who may not feel comfortable training in a gym or group setting again.

Our goal is to provide fitness for all ages, all fitness levels, all over the world. We will be offering a FULL online schedule.

How are we different?

Unlike other online fitness providers using Instagram Live and pre-recorded videos, we teach all our classes in our virtual classroom on Zoom. This means they will be interactive, we will get to know each and every member personally and be able to help you through your workouts and correct movements. We are a small, family owned business and we will welcome you like you are family too!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign up for a class of your choice HERE  

2. Choose either our $39/month unlimited membership or a class pack (see options HERE)

3. You will be sent a class reminder for each class you sign up for, this will include the link to our Online Virtual Classroom

4. Login to class at your desired class time, have some dumbbells or a weighted object ready (water bottles, wine bottles, etc), and get ready for a great workout!

FAQ’s

What equipment do I need? 

We recommend having a set of dumbbells, or even a couple of sets of of dumbbells of different weights (if you can get your hands on them!) If not, all our workouts can be done with no weight options, OR you can use household items like filled up water bottles, wine bottles, liquor bottles, tins of soup or anything that is of a similar size that is of some weight. 

I have never worked out before, is that ok?

YES! All our workouts are totally scaleable and are approproate for any fitness level. The beauty of working out at home in your own space is that you can work at your own pace and take rests when you need to. 

What is the best class for weight loss? 

Our HIIT class is going to burn the most calories. However, with the right diet, you can lose weight with any of our classes. 

Is there a cancellation fee if I cancel my membership?

No, as long as you let us know 10 days PRIOR to your next billing date, you can cancel whenever you want, re-start whenever you want, it is intended to be very flexible. Alternatively, if you prefer to not be on any kind of automated billing, you can choose a class pack instead.

Class Descriptions

HIIT at Home

This is our high intensity, sweaty cardio class. Our workouts will be interval style, raising your heartrate and burning lots of calories! Although the workouts are higher intensity, they can still be scaled for all ages and fitness levels. We recommend buying a pair of dumbbells to keep at home, otherwise you can use anything of a similar size (water bottles, wine bottles, tins of soup etc!)

Sculpt

A low impact, moderate intensity class that will still give you a great workout without anything dynamic (running, jumping etc). Sculpt is a combination of core work and lightly weighted exercises all done from your own yoga mat. We like to say it’s a combination of pilates and body building. Exercises are specifically designed to target and tone common problem areas – stomach, upper arms, thighs and booty!

Silver Sneakers - Coming Soon

This class is specifically designed for our athletes over 50, or restricted by injuries. The class will be a mix of muscle strengthening, increasing aerobic capacity at a slower pace than our HIIT class, and spending extra time on mobility. 

Yoga

A dynamic, physically and spiritually energizing class, hones and tones every muscle in the body. Linking one movement into the next using breath. Class style will vary depending upon the instructor. All you need from this one is your Yoga Mat!
